Aotea Sea Scouts hold Emergency Parent Meeting re East West Link! The Sea Scouts are rallying to protect their Historic building the "Ship" Est 1911. The Scouts are facing massive change and major challenges.  "what to do next." Team Leader says "Aotea strongly support the Community Design which would join the Taumanu Reserve, Onehunga new foreshore​ with the Port of Onehunga Placing the "Ship" in a prime  Waterfront location for the community to cherish and future generations enjoy" and "Aotea feel strongly that NZTA plans will place a ruddy great barrier in the form of six lanes of roads over six meters high directly across from our building".will severely compromise our ability to deliver a strong youth focused programme by blocking our access to Gloucester Park, reducing parking, removing future building development opportunities, introducing excess noise, and increasing road danger" For more info see www.toes.org.nz
